SharpView® CT has clinical documented possibilities to reduce the CT dose by between 30–70%, depending on which part of the body being scanned. The technology is based on over 25 years of image enhancement experience within all modalities. SharpView CT suits all kind of CT scanners and brands.

SharpView® CT is a software package that is installed on an ordinary PC. SharpView CT is a complete DICOM compatible stand-alone system which is installed between the CT and the hospitals existing PACS system. SharpView CT works automatically without any manual interference. Radiologists review their images in the same way as they are used to.

SharpView CT is an adaptive filter which constitutes mathematical algorithms that resemble the human vision system. The filter reduces noise and improves image quality. The product is integrated in the image flow and the filtrated images are delivered automatically into the ordinary picture archive of the clinic.
