RSNA in Chicago was a huge success for SharpView. The new product SharpView MRI was launched and several research results with SharpView CT was presented.
Low dose CT is now one of the hottest topics within Radiology in the U.S. This was obvious because of the large number of American radiologists and physicists visiting our booth.
Dr Patric Kröpil from Düsseldorf University Hospital presented the abstract "Dose Reduction and Image Quality in Abdominal MDCT: Potential of Adaptive Postprocessing Filters". Link to
abstract.
Sarab Singh, MD, et al from Massachusetts General Hospital, presented the poster "Integration of 2D Adaptive Filters in Routine Clinical Workflow for Reducing CT Radiation Dose".
SharpView MRI, is the product which reduces MRI-scanning times by up to 50% while maintaining equal diagnostic image quality.
SharpView MRI is driven by unique and advanced imaging algorithms. Clinicians using SharpView MRI can achieve a higher level of efficiency and cost reduction by performing more patient examinations in a shorter timeframe.
Furthermore, SharpView MRI has great value for patients. The time spent within the confines of the MRI scanner will be reduced. With shorter scanning times, the risk of movement artifacts is reduced.
